Well I finally put my new focal speakers in the doors of my ranger, along with my arc amp behind the passenger seat running them. Both doors are fully sound deadened with 2-3 layers of raammat on the inner and outer door skin, almost completley sealing off teh doors for the midrange. and the tweeters are flush mounted high in the doors.

then I have the arc xxk 2100 mounted behing the passenger seat with the crossovers right next to it. It doesn't look too bad, but it's just temporary until I get my sub/subs and sub amp and then I'll build a nice amp rack and everything.

More importantly, how does it sound? it sounds AMAZING. Now I know where my $1100 dollars went. ;) hah, total money spent so far:

$325 on eclipse cd5423 cd player (which I'm selling)
$510 on focal K2 power speakers
$295 on acr xxk 2100 amplifier

and I still have to get my sub amp, sub/subs, dvd player, navigation unit, sunvisor screens, and rear view mirror screen...

oh yeah, and my lift and tires and wheels. Unless I get 20's with or without spinners. agh, you decide...
